How do I load TV shows I've downloaded on iTunes onto my iPod nano?

I've got two episodes of a tv show downloaded but it won't transfer to my iPod nano. My iPod nano has a section for TV shows and movies so I don't understand what's wrong. :(

If you sync your iPod, then just sync your iPod and they will go on your iPod.

If you manually manage your music and videos, you will have to drag the videos from the TV shows section of iTunes down to your iPod under "devices" on the blue pain on the left.

iTunes supports .mov and .mp4 videos,but iPod accepts only mp4 videos,if the video is .mov format,right click the video and select 'Convert selection for iPod/iPhone'. Not all the .mp4 videos are compatible with the ipod.ipod suppots xvid,h.264 and mpeg4 encoding.
