How do I locate my Battlefield 2142 CD key from within game or Windows XP?

I'm wanting to reformat my computer, but I cannot find my instruction manual so I'm trying to locate the CD key from within Windows or BF2142 so that I can write it down and use on the reinstall.

Or just navigate to to EA support site, you must log in to your account.  Under "My games" you will see a list of games and your key is displayed under it.  You can use that key when you reinstall your game.
