How do I locate the Serial Number on a 6000CD Ford Headunit?

The battery has been disconnected recently. I have read my literature and cannot find the keycode anywhere! Apparently, it can be found if I have the serial number?

This is so that I don't have to travel 40 miles to my nearest Ford dealer!

  1. It is on the side, starts with an M. You really should use the proper clips to take it out or you may damage the front


  2. it can be located on the outside housing of the unit itself. you must remove the unit in order to see the serial, model,, specs, numbers, etc
