  1. You can check out these exercises specifically for the stomach fat

  2. Toe Touch

Begin by lying on the floor with arms and legs straight upwards, perpendicular to your body. Slowly curl your torso up and forward, raising your hands as close to your toes as possible. Contract your abs and then reverse direction, returning to the starting position.

    Reverse Curl

Begin by lying back on the floor. With your hands at your sides, raise your butt as high as possible while keeping your upper back pressed to the floor. Contract your abs and then reverse direction, returning to the starting position.

    Twisting Crunch

Begin by lying face up on the floor with your knees bent at a 90-degree angle. Your thighs should be perpendicular to the ground and your hands should be folded across your chest. Slowly raise your shoulders up and forward toward your chest, twisting your body to the right. Feel a contraction in your abdominal muscles and then slowly reverse direction, returning to the start position. After performing the desired number of repetitions, repeat the process, twisting your body to the left.

Do 15 to 20 reps of the toe touch. Without resting, do 15 to 20 reps of the reverse curl. Then do 15 to 20 reps of the twisting curl. Rest 30 seconds and repeat the giant set two more times.

  4. Fat targetting is completely false regardless of what anyone says. If your going to want to lose your belly fat then you're going to have to lose your overall body fat. Only way to do that is diet/cardio. Eat 12 calories per pound you weight and run X number of miles a day. For every mile you run add 100 calories to your diet.

Example: You weigh 100 pound so you eat 1200 calories a day.

You run 5 miles a day so you add +500 calories to your 1200 giving youa 1700 calorie diet.

This will guarntee you to lower your body fat % and your abs will be showing buetifully.

  5. Aside from diet and exercise, remove yourself from stressful situations.  My doctor said that stress produces a chemical called (cortisol, I think) anyway this chemical somehow aids in accumulating fat around the tummy.

  6. Well unfortunately you can't spot reduce, you can't just pick which part of the body you would like to lose fat from. Only the body can decide where to lose fat from.

Apart from what I said there are a few things you can do to lose fat around the belly. They include using a combination of resistance exercises and HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training). I prefer HIIT over regular cardio since you get a better work out in less time.

For example: You walk for 2min followed by sprinting for 30 sec. This becomes 1 cycle, complete 3 more for a total of 4 cycles lasting 10min. This is short but it's intense. Over the coming weeks increase by 1 cycle per week until you reach your 8th week whereby you could just stay at 8 cycles without having to increase it for the next week. This is to be done 3 days a week when you don't do resistance exercises.

With resistance exercises, you should do pushups, pullups, chinups, squats and janda situps. Once you could do 4 sets of 12 reps make the exercises more difficult by using elevated pushups and weighted pullups/chinups/squats. You should do this for no more than an hour and preferably on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Also by eating well, 4-6 smaller meals instead of 3 large meals will allow you to elevate your metabolism throughout the whole day. This in turn will allow you to burn away the fat much more easily. And ofcourse by drinking plenty of water and plenty of rest, at least 8 hours per day.

    Hope this helps :)
