How do I lose alot of weight in a small amount of time?

I workout for up to 3hours a day for 6 days. and i have been doing this since late May but nothing has happened I have just gained more weight. So if anyone could help with this it would be greatly appreciated!

  1. Look into Weight Watchers.  It's the most practical way to go.  Don't call it a DIET.   Diets don't work and you start one and stop.  Just consentrate on what you eat, when you eat, where you eat and portion sizes.  Americans eat 3-5 times the amount of food we should.  Look into what a real PORTION is.  You'll be shocked!  Also, change your work out routine.  Your body has gotten use to it and it's not a challenge anymore.  Good Luck!!


  2. I really doubt you are doing what you say... unless you are eating a ton.  If you want to lose weight fast, and don't care about keeping it off, cut carbs and sugar and work out.

Two things to remember 1) you can't lose weight fast in a healthy way and 2) muscle weighs more then fat so if you really are working out as much as you say you are then you may be building muscle. The best way and the healthiest way to lose weight is by maintaining your metabolism by eating smaller portions more frequently and by exercising. Alternating weight training with Cardio. I lost 55 pounds in 3 months but that is because my weight was caused by medicines and I always was a very skinny girl so my body's metabolism could handle rapid weight loss. Everyone's bodies are different and you really should be careful and learn your own body - it's amazing what you can learn from it!


  4. first of all..the gaining weight may just be muscle.  Remember...muscle is heavier than fat and so when you work out, you may find yourself GAINING weight at first.  Thats the same for most people so dont worry.  THe fact that you are gaining weight may also mean you have an unhealthy diet and you need to focus on more vegetables, fruits, and maybe calcium and meat.  Those are all good for you.  Drink slimfast shakes in the mornings if you would like and get work at HOME equippment so you can work out in front of the tv.  Ride your bike, run, jog, or take long walks to maintain a steady weight.  Keep working as HARD as you are now and you will lose the weight and be very satisfied with your body.  I promise!

  6. work out, jog, join the gym eat healthy. if i were you i would join the swimming club because when you swim it works out your whole body and burns for fat/calories. the reason why i say swimming is because 1. burn more calories/fat like i said b4 and 2. your body is fighting the resistance of the water your swimming in. so if your looking for weight loss join a swimming club or go to the beach and swim and eat healthy. that means no fat stuff. eat protein from non fat meat and you know the rest. Don't get those weight loss pills. Their bad for you.

  7. You might be under alot of stress and that usually has sometime to do with weight gain instead of lost. Also you might be doing the same thing when you go to the gym, otherwise do something different with your daily gym workout. Run a little more or do more push up. Also if you want to lose weight fast go to the pool, or walk to your nearest grocery store instead of driving. Running and Swimming are great for losing weight. Or you if you eat suagry-Carbo- food, stop that nd eat more fruit and vegetables.

  15. Drink a lot of water all day in the morning drink as hot as you can. Trust me that helps a lot and when is 6pm don't eat food anymore if you get hungry eat a fruit something that is not going to get you a lot of calories.

  17. Well first of all what have you been eating. If you are eating a bunch of unhealthy foods then it won't work. If you are eating too much it won't work.

    Start eating a little bit better like cut down on your soda intake, eat a different kind of chips, those baked lay's are really good. Eat fruit's and vegetables as snacks. There are really interesting idea's as to how to eat them. Don't have sweets as much.

    I don't like exercise so I just cut my food intake in half and I've lost like 10 pounds in like 3 weeks. Imagine what would happen if you exercised.

    My friends father is doing it and he has lost like 20 pounds in about the sam amount of time I've been doing it.

  18. -stop drinking any kind of regular cola. (even cut back in diet)

    -bread is not good for watching your weight, cut back on that.

    -drink water daily. (7-8 glasses a day)

    and mainly keep working out.
