I MAINTAIN my weight doing 45 min. of exercise a day and eating 1800 cal??

I'm 5'3 120 pretty good shape. I make muscle easily but just can't burn fat. I really have a hard time eating less b/c I just don't feel like I can exercise (I do eat HEALTHY fruits, veggies, brown bread, nuts, lean meats etc). And there's no way Imma add more exercise.

Wth is wrong with me?!?! I REALLY want to lose 10 lbs. ANY ideas??

  1. Could it be that you're gaining abit too much muscle than you intended? Because muscle is more dense than fat...


  2. Sounds like you're doing fine, that may be the weight your body is healthy at; however,  add some extra whey protein to your nutrition plan and some more toning exercises to your fitness.  Yoga works great, people think it isn't a workout but it truly is.

  4. Your eating too many calories.  At 120lbs you should be eating more like 1,200 calories if you want to lose weight.  Currently your eating MORE than your Basal Metabolic Rate.

  6. You don't need to lose 10 pounds, which is why it is hard to lose 10 pounds.  You are at a good weight for your height.

  7. Well you sound like your fine, especially since muscle weighs more than fat and you have a lot of muscle. But if you really wana lose weight just try cutting your calories just a lil itty bit to 1600 (which can be achieved by not drinking calorie drinks, meaning just drink water and no other drinks.) And to get your metabolism faster, try excersising before you eat anything in the day. That could work unless you don't like waking up early. Another thing you could try is yoga. I know you don't wana do more excersise but yoga is really relaxing and all you have to do is take about 1 or 2 classes a week to get results. Try it before you decide!=) GOOD LUCK! I hope I helped!

  8. You are on a plateau. In weightlifting, that means you are suddenly gaining less muscle, but it also applies to burning fat. The main cause is never switching exercises. If you are just jogging 45 minutes, then try swimming for 45 min, or stationary bike, or sprinting 20 min.
