How do I made a link change color in HTML?

I tried this

< A href="somepage.html " style="color: #00a000">Visit Somepage</A >

But blogger said color is not allowed.

  1. If you just type in the full URL it will usually convert to the blue colour - it works for me i.e. http://also-online.com/links/


  2. &lt;font color=(insert code here)&gt;  include the arrows at both ends

  3. Your best choice is to Google it. I saw something irrelevant, to your question there.

  5. I&#039;d say the only possible explanation is that you have a lowercase a, when you should probably make it an uppercase A.

    If that doesn&#039;t work, then perhaps you could go through these color codes http://w3schools.com/html/html_colorname... and see if you can come close in color with another, the code you put isn&#039;t on the list, but maybe there is one similar.
