How do I mail a letter?

Hi, I have never mailed a letter in my entire life. I want to know how to do it.... like I know you need to post a stamp but I dont know what type of stamp to use. Say I want to mail someone in the same city as me? I live in Toronto, Canada.

use a regular postage stamp. standard is fine being that you aremailing to the same city.  sometimes out of country and state costs more.  right your address on the upper left hand corner and the address your sending it to in the middle of the envelope.  good luck

take it to ups and let them do all the work.

go to the website hit control f and type canada in that should pull it up for you
