Question:

How do I mail food to a US embassy or consulate?

My boyfriend is in MSG school to guard an embassy, and I want to send him some home-made bread once he gets to his post. Is there a way to do that? Or can I only send non-perishable things? When he was deployed in Iraq, I sent him tuna, but that wasn't a federal building.....

  2. UPS will be the right carrier for your home-made bread to your boyfriend assigned at the embassy.

You can use UPS or Federal Express if they deliver to that country.  Otherwise, you can use the US mail to send bread to your boyfriend.  Every US embassy has a US address, either through an APO, an FPO, or a pseudo street address in the DC area that will get your package there safely.  Your boyfriend can tell you what the address is once he gets there, or, if you want to surprise him, find the US mailing address by reading through that embassy's web page here:
