How do I maintain a healthy pond ecosystem if I stock it with Brown Trout ,Bullhead Catfish, and fatheads

My pond is about 1 acre and it regularly receives running water from a river.

Please contact your States Department of Fish and Wildlife or The Department of Natural recourse's. They have the expertise in this matter and will have all of the necessary information. In some States they will even stock your pond with the correct prey to predator ratio. If you take this upon your self at least have them tell you the proper fish to stock and the right amount to stock for the size of your pond. I am afraid without their expert knowledge you will more than likely fail in your attempts. They work for us and will be a great help. They will also be glad to do it. You will not have any obligation to them what so ever.
