How do I maintain a relationship through middle and high school?

You are way to young to think long term. Date and have fun. Do not have s*x yet. (You do not want to get knocked up yet!)

There are going to be lots and lots of fish in the sea and you will be growing up and changing so much. I am actually still great friends with my first love from the 8th grade. I thought that we would be married and I thought that our love was stronger than anything in the whole wide world. I hated it when people said that I did not know what love was, because looking back, I did love him. He was a very big part of my growing up.

You are going to meet lots of people in high school and then college. i am 25 and just met the man I am going to marry. Be patient and love yourself and let life happen.

Well, first of all, both of you have to be on the same level. You have to feel the same way about the relationship. There is a better chance if the both of you want your relationship to work.
