Short of winning the lottery or cash in a casino, or selling yourself out, making $100,000 is not particularly possible if you do not have a degree AND you are lazy. Although, you can try investing in mutual funds or stocks, but usually you need a sum of money before hand to invest...and that won't necessarily guarantee you $100,000.

Unlike others I will tell you it is very possible to make $100,000 without get rich schemes or working major crazy hours or working two jobs here are the steps which I took.

1. Do research on positions/ 6 figure jobs which stated a degree is required but also state or *Equivelant Experience*  The equivenant experence is what will sell you without a degree.

2. Very little money? Go to Nobel or a bookstore to sit and do some research.  All it will cost you is a little time.  

3. Know your stress levels and pick the right career choice and what what type of position would best fit your personality.  choose no more than 5 to 10 and work your way down between career 1 and 2.

4. Choose the careers which require the least investment, less stress, no degree.

5 If you have a PC, create a folder for your collective favorites for job research, be organized and create a plan and stay on schedule (Example) Mon - Tues - Fri (5:30PM to 8:00PM)

6 Find rescouceful links regarding how to create a winning resume, there are plenty out there.

7 Find addtional "free" sites for interviewing questions.  Though most are generic they will allow you get use to being quizzed for your new oppurtunity.

8 Don't be afraid of rejection - it's the road to a 6 figure salary seldom travelled by the shy and withdrawn.

9. How to guage your progress.  (A) A good resume should get you a phone call, So if your phone is not ringing then you do not have a winning resume. (B) Make sure you send out a minimum of 100 - 200 resumes once it's complete. Repeat this twice a week.  The more resumes out there the higher probability of a phone call or multiple calls.

10 Search the web for multiple websites.  Now this will take some time but well worth it.  Create multiple profiles and post your winning resume on several sites.  Headhunters always check theses along with many agencies. 11 If you get lots of E-mails and your phone is beginning to ring then you are on your way to the next step.

12 Know how to give a winning phone interview.  This is what gets you the face to face interview.  The objective here is to get phone calls.

13 Call backs - This means you've made an impression regardless of your experience.  If a job states it requires 3, 5, or 10 years of experiences however the job is relatively new or new technology then this is a generic job discription and who ever created the job discription may not be aware that the technology was only created 2 years ago.  In other cases this may not apply but my rule of thumb is if you call me then you are interested.

14. Best rule, learn while you earn.  If you are on the job, don't get comfortable.  This is 2008 and learning on the job is always best.  Get as much free education as possible.

Last but now least.  I make a 6 figure salary and I'm a single father with a 5 year old son.  Because I had very little income I qaulified for education assistance.  Unlike others I know who wanted to use 6,000 to become a nurses assistant, I decided to get into the computer industry.  

I took a 6 week Microsoft Course (boot camp).  did not take the certifications to get certified, got a job working on a help desk$18 per hour, 6 months later worked another contract as a Desktop Support Specialist, (entry level) two months 19$.  Then applied at another company for $25, an hour.  

Read a Systems Analyst book for 30 days, modified only my job title to System Analsyst and got a position for $40 per hour (entry level position).  1 year later. $6 figures.  

I was agressive because I know 2 things.  What I wanted and created a plan to get me there.  Best of luck too you.

You won't get any legitimate answers to this question because if you do, it will be from people who are giving away a secret everyone wants to know, which means you may be lazy, but they're stupid - if they're stupid, they aren't really making 100,000...
