How do I make BeachBands?

Question

They look like hair wraps but are worn as necklaces, anklets and bracelets. They are of the most beautiful threads and I would like to make some as I live in an area where you can't buy them.

What kind of threads do I buy to make them?

~How To Make BeachBands~

   What You Need

         - Embroidery thread in three or four colors

   Instructions

         - Braid the colors together and tie it in a loop.

         - Tie a knot with all of the colors you want to use at the beginning of the thread

         - Choose which color you want to use first

         - Wrap that color around all of the other ones until it is as long as you want that section to be.

         - To end the section hold the colro you were using in your hand. Cross it over the rest of the strings. This will make a loop. Put the threa in that loop and pull.

         - Repeat this until it is as long as you want it to be.

         - Get a button and put the thread into the holes and tie a knot. If you used three use a button with three holes, and if you used four use a button with four holes.

         - To fasten put the button in the loop.
