How do I make Firefox my default browser?

Question

I recently deleted Internet Explorer and downloaded Firefox. That's what I use for my internet. However, whenever I click on a link in an email or in an IM, it opens the link in an Internet Explorer window. How do I make Firefox my default internet thingy? lol (sorry, don't know the lingo).

Go Tools > Options. Go to the Advanced tab. Under the "General" sub-tab, Check the box next to "Always check to see if Firefox is the default browser on startup." Then press the "Check now" button.
