How do I make HJ Split recognise my .002 files?

I have downloaded a 15 part video that I would like to join. They are in the same folder and have the same name eg, whatever.avi.001 and so forth. But I can't seem to join them. After joining the video will be the same as the .001 file!

So does the size change aftter you join them or is it the same as 001? Also how is it that you can view a 001 file but everyone else needs a program like HJSplit??

you can try Ultra video joiner, After successful join flv files , the joined flv video file shall be stored in the folder you have previously selected. you can choose my .002 files as output file name.
