How do I make a ballet tu-tu?

i want to make a ballet tu tu but do not know how to go about this? where do i get the fabric from? what do i use for the elastic? is it possible to hand stitch this? thank u

get tuelle and cut it into long strips, then get string elastic and tie the tuelle strips onto the elactic

This is a fantastic website!  I've used several of the instructions from here and they've all turned out great.  This is the tutu sew along that I used when I made one for my Grandmonster.  It's very simple and quick to make.

Pretty much any fabric store carries bridal tulle (and netting, if you need it)
