How do I make a call to Panama? I have the number....?

I'm trying to reach my husband and all I have is a phone number that looks like this.. x*x-xxxx just that many numbers. That is the home number. There is a cell number and that is one more number on the front. So that says xxxx-xxxx. Isn't there like an international area code or something. Any ideas?

the country code is 507.  to dial out of the US (i have no idea what country you're in) you dial 011.

so it would be 011-507-x*x-xxxx.

give that a try.

I know that when I call Panama from the states I have to put * before I dial the number.

you have to dial the following number:

011 + 507 + THE TELEPHONE NUMBER

OK you proably need what is called the Country code. You dial 011+Country code+number. To get the country code just look it up. If you need a site to find them you could go to 1010987.com Code is 507.

Dial 1-507-city_code-x*x-xxxx.

507 is the country code for Panama.

You will need the city code for whatever city the number is located.

Then add the last 7 digits.
