How do I make a ceramic message board that you use with dry erase markers?

I want to make a dry erase ceramic message board for a gift this Christmas and having a hard time finding good instructions.

Use a Glazed tile ( test it first to make sure it works) that  you can get at  Lowe's or Home Depot ;)))
