How do I make a custom painting on Sims 2?

Is there an easy way to make a custom painting on Sims 2 like there was on classic sims? I want to add my own art work or art from the net, to hang on their walls (not art from the game, I know how to do that). All the directions I see on some websites are really complicated and when I tried them they didn't work. Any help would be appreciated.

Yes you can, You're sims must max out the creativity skill to do so but when they max it out you can do *Custom Painting* and if you have bon voyage it should have some in there or just go through files and pick a picture.

There's apparently a way to do it, but I don't think there is an "easy" way. Like I don't think there's an Art Studio like in Sims 1 for some reason.  That would be nice.
