How do I make a fox tail and ears that look real?

Hi! I keed to kow how to make a bushy fox tail plus ears, because I'm working on a costume. if anyone knows how to, I'd really appreciate it. :)

fake fur fabric is easy to work with, available at most fabric stores, often on the clearance table especially this time of year.  You can glue it to poster board cut outs of ears and glue the entire thing to a head band.  The tail is easy, just sew a tube with a bit of a bulge in the middle section, you know, shaped like a bushy foxes tail, and sew a little bit of lighter color fur at the end, stuff it with old t-shirts .
