I want to make a bracelet like this:

I just want it to be plain stripes of the German flag :) Where can I buy materials for this, what should I look for specifically? And is there a good website with instructions on how to make them?

Thanks!

  2. Here are two sites with a lot of patterns and instructions on how to make those friendship bracelets:

You make these bracelets using embroidery floss. You can get it at the craft store or fabric store. It comes in a "skein" and they are anywhere from $0.25-$0.40 each. Really cheap. You can get tons of colors. A common brand is DMC but there are others. Each string of the floss consists of 6 strands of thread. Here is a link to show you what they look like:

To get started, you select a beginning pattern. Get your floss and a safety pin and begin! It's really easy and once you get the hang of it, experiment with the great patterns available!

    Good luck. :)

  3. I would try searching the web for "friendship bracelet" patterns or a site that has various crafts projects. I subscribe to several different craft sites and all of them are free to join. Might try Michaels or Joanns crafts stores, they carry various craft projects, along they sometimes have classes for various projects. Good luck on making your Friendship Bracelet.
