How do I make a good impression during Team Camp?

Question

Tomorrow, Saturday and Sunday I will be in a Team Camp.

All of the girls who were already on the team last year will be there, and me and one of my friends will be there too.

I am going into high school this fall, where our volleyball team is one of the best in the state.

I was varsity setter last year for the middle school team last year, and my coach told me I would probably make the team this year, but...

There is some animosity between me and some of the sophmores & I am really shy. I am sooo worried that I am going to make an a** of myself.

I just want to make a good impression on the coaches.

don't worry. I'm going to be a senior this year and have been the varsity setter for 3 year (I was also sooooooooo shy) not even kiding you. My coaches always kid me because I was soo quiet. I have been to mannny tryouts since the 4th grade to my senior year in highschool.

This is what coaches look for:

Skill level

coachability

Attitude

Effort (run your butt off and never let the ball drop: run after it and hit the ground if you need to) really makes you stick out

Communication (especially to work on for you) Give words of encouragement and always call the ball) give lots of high fives: Even though you are shy: ask them for help on techniques in a drill :it makes them remember you.
