  1. Try this.  Find as many 3-Star Monster cards with good effects.  These could be something like Sangan, Banisher of the Light, Cliff the Trap Remover, Four Starred Ladybug of Doom, Yomi Ship, Royal Knight, and some good Neo-Spacians.

When you have about 20 3-Star Monsters with effects, make sure not to get anything higher.  (Avoid tribute summonings.)

As for Magic and Trap, go defence.  Things like Sakuretsu Armor, Magic Cylinders, and Negate Attack will work.

Also, make sure to get Gravity Bind, and Level Limit Area B.  This is basicly a sheild for you.  While your opponent most likely will have 4-Starred Monsters, you have 3-Starred.  You would be the only one allowed to attack.

Also, because your monsters most likely won't be strong enough to destroy opponent's monsters, make sure to get Skull Lair.  This card removes from play cards in your graveyard, and then destroys any of your opponent's monsters.  But why would you want to remove your own cards from play?

Because if you have the monster card, Gren Maju Da Eiza, you are almost invincible.  Gren Maju gains 400 Attack AND Defence for every one of your cards removed from play, often bringing him to 12,000 Attack!  The great thing about him, though, is that he is 3 Stars!

So while your opponent can't attack, and you are destroying his monsters while making your own very powerful, I would say you would have a good chance of beating your opponent!

  2. How do you make a good Yu Gi Oh deck? That itself is up to you and your personal opinion. No deck is the same, each depends on the personality of the guy using it, and their individual skill. The deck of the world champion will fail if used by a new player. How your deck operates and what cards you include are decided by your own tasts. Are you interested in 1-turn victories? Strong defence? Removal? Burn? Rentsy?

For example, I run a warrior toolbox, but even though it has won me the local tourny twice, it might be a constant loss in the hands of someone else. I'll give you advice on my own deck.

Warrior Toolbox decks rely on the ability to get the card you want, when you want it, for any situation. Suggested cards include Field Commander Rahz, Marauding Captain, Reinforcments of the Army, Sangan, and others search cards to get out monsters that can be used against almost anything your opponent throws at you. Cards that boost the strength of cards, Command Knight, United We stand, and Blade Knight, are suggested.

A lot of supportive traps are a necessity. Also, Spirit reaper, Sangan, Cyber Dragon, and mystic space typhoon are a staple in almost every Deck nowadays.

    Happy Dueling! ^_^
