How do I make a guitar from scratch?

Question

Now I want it to the very last details, such as, how much money it will cost me, the materials I will need, tools I'll need, types of wood, etc.

I want to be able to do this in about 250$, but no more than 300$

for $3, I'll sell you a shoebox that you can wrap rubber bands around.  Seriously though... If you don't already have the tools, they'll cost more than a collection of Gibson's.  Just buy one, bro.

You can't make a guitar for that cheap, but you can buy a cheap one ( http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/S... ).  You won't get as good sound or consistency if you build it either.  Look up the parts you need and the wood and it will quickly add up to more than a finished guitar.  For an electric the parts alone will add up to about the cost of a guitar, and we have not yet taken into account the tools.
