  1. What about a Clue game board with the game pieces like the candle stick holder, gun, knife etc?

Sounds like a challenge, but it could be a lot of fun!

  2. put poison in it, then it'll be a real murder mystery.

  3. make a head cake with a noose.

  4. I would make a cake and then stick a bloody great carving knife in it, then have blood running everywhere so it looks like the cake is bleeding from a stab wound. not very pc at the moment i know but what the hey.

  5. you could go with the knife in the cake suggestion or you could put caution tape with yellow frosting and have like a magnifing glass in the frosting as well

  6. stick a big kitchen knife in the middle with fake blood around it

  7. Have a mysterious man looking for clues. Have a body on the floor. Make the cake black, and some red frosting!

  8. classic sheet cake:

    decorations:

After baking, but before frosting the cake, insert one of the game pieces of "CLUE" in the cake.  Frost the cake...

Then take the rest of the game pieces and position them on the frosted cake.

The party guest who finds the missing piece is the murderer!

Explain the game to the guests, so there isn't an accidental choking.

    Note:

This decoration was inspired by the french "La Galette Des Rois".  Check it out: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/King_cake

  9. 'Mother in law' question. VERY suggestive :-)

  10. Maybe try not being so literal.

My first thought was to make a cake that goes along with the theme (50s or roaring 20s whenever the game is set). You can bake a non-toxic coin or gem or something into it and use it as part of the game somehow, i think that would be fun.

  11. It might be amusing to present it with the knife already in it, with some red jam on, which could be blood.

You could say "If you wondered why I gathered all of you in the library today....."

  12. um, why not just make it like a clue game board/ or the box? like, the murder mystery board game?

  13. Well, Bridget from Hugh Hefner's 'Girls Next Door' show on E! had a murder mystery cake for her birthday. Bridget's had creamy and shiny black icing with a bottle of arsenic on one layer, and pile of blood, and a white body outline on it as you mentioned earlier. Good luck!

  14. This is cute http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=h... maybe you could do something with fingerprints.

  15. but red frosting on it like blood with a big hand print on it or something

  16. Contact Charm City Cakes for suggestions on how to put this together if you are stumped. They deal in the obscure shaped cakes.

  17. the first answer is good but you cant really do tht so yh but red sauce is one of the kkey features or jam also you can get like little icing figures such as daggegrs and swords os be creative.
