  1. Forget about all those measured ingredients and make as follows:- To make about 8 good p/cakes put a cup of flour in a mixing bowl. Add 2 eggs and mix well while adding milk. Keep mixing, with either 2 forks or balloon whisk, until it is smooth and creamy. If it's too thick you will get stodgy p/cakes, if it's too runny, forget it. If they are for savoury foods, add a pinch of salt. When the batter is ready, cover with a damp tea towel and leave to stand overnight. When ready to make them, put a drop of oil in a hot f/pan (small plate size will do) and heat until smoking. Add a tablespoon of hot water to the mixture, beat well and put about 1-2 tbspn in the pan and "run it round" the pan. Loosen the edges as it cooks and turn or toss it over. You will know when the 1st side is done as it appears dry. The whole thing only takes 2 minutes to do and in no time you will have 6-8 p/cakes. If you have to keep them hot while cooking the other ones keep divided with greaseproof paper under a low grill.

  2. I've got the best recipe for pancakes(easy,tasty,healthy)

    Recipe for Chocolate  Pancake

    Ingredients:

    4 medium eggs.

    2 oz of melted chocolate.

    1 cup of flour.

    1 cup of milk.

    ¾ cup of yoghurt.

    2 tablespoons of chocolate syrup.

    2 tablespoons of sugar.

    2 teaspoons of baking powder.

    1 teaspoon of salt.

    1 teaspoon of baking soda.

    Cooking oil.

    Preparation Instructions:

    Thoroughly mix all of the ingredients (except cooking oil) together in a bowl.

    Allow to stand for about 5 minutes.

    Lightly coat a frying pan or skillet with cooking oil.

    Heat up the pan.

    Pour a suitable amount of the batter into the pan and cook, turning once. Repeat until all batter is used.

    Hope you like it...............

  3. May be you can try on with this recipe:

    1 1/2 cups dry pancake mix

    1/2 cup flax seed meal

    1 cup skim milk

    2 eggs

    1 cup fresh or thawed frozen blueberries

    1.Set a nonstick skillet over medium heat.

    2.In a medium bowl, stir together the pancake mix and flax seed meal. 3.In a separate bowl or measuring cup, whisk together the milk and   eggs. Pour the liquid into the dry ingredients, and stir just until moistened.

    4.Spoon 1/4 cupfuls of batter onto the hot skillet. Sprinkle with as many blueberries as desired. Cook until bubbles appear on the surface, then flip and cook until browned on the other side.

    It is more healthier. Try it on. Good luck

  4. make a cake and sit on it

  5. The following ingredients will make between 4-8, depending on the size. You may change the amounts of ingredients according to the amount of which you wish to serve.

        * 2 cups Self rising flour (All Purpose can work, too)

        * 2 eggs

        * 2 3/4 cups of milk

        * 1/4 cup olive oil

        * 2 tablespoons butter

        * 3 tablespoons sugar

        * 1 1/2 tablespoons of baking soda

        * 1 teaspoon salt

    1. Beat eggs until fluffy. Add dry ingredients, followed by milk, and oil.

    2. Melt butter and add to mix. Stir gently, leave some small clumps in the batter. DO NOT BLEND UNTIL SMOOTH, your pancakes will be tough and flat as opposed to fluffy. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT

    3. Heat frying pan to a medium low flame. If you have an initial 'pancake' setting on your stove, use that. Be sure to use non-stick spray, or a pat of butter so the pancakes won't stick.

    4. To be sure the pan is hot enough, sprinkle some water on it. If it 'dances', it is ready.

    5. Pour about 3 tablespoons- 1/4 cup batter from tip of large spoon or from pitcher onto hot griddle.

    6. Cook for two minutes until the pancake is golden. You should see bubbles form and then pop around the edges. When the bubbles at the edge of the batter pop and a hole is left that does not immediately close up, flip.

    7. Cook the other side until golden.

    8. Remove when both sides are golden and serve. Enjoy!

    Some tips:

        * Top with honey, orange juice, cinnamon powder, golden syrup, sugar or whatever else you would like.

        * If you really have a sweet tooth, add a little vanilla essence to the mix.

        * Lemon juice and fine sugar make a very traditional and delicious topping.

        * Don't be surprised if the first pancake is a flop. It is often the pancake that seasons the pan for the remaining successful ones to come.

        * You can also put strawberries on it.

        * Your pancakes will cook much better if they are cooked on a skillet as opposed to a frying pan.

        * Try putting cinnamon sugar on it when you cook in the pan. Roll it up, then serve it as a crepe for a delicious treat.

        * After turning the pancake put a few squares of chocolate (dark or milk chocolate) and let it melt then fold your pancake before serving.

        * Add banana slices (mash separately) into the mixture for a delightful new fresh taste--and add strawberries on the top (frozen ones in a container from the store taste best).

        * If you want to make blueberry, raspberry, or any other kind of 'berry' pancakes, just add the fruit into the batter before you cook.

  6. I only know how to make the Crepes. First get a suitable Pan or a Crepiere around 30 cm or 12 inches.

    Ingredients.

    2 Cups of Plain Flour, 2 Tablespoons of Sugar, Pinch of Salt.

    2 Large Eggs, 2 Cups of Milk, or Water

    2 Tablespoons of Melted Butter,cooled,[ or 2 Tablespoons of Cooking Oil]

    Combine, Flour,Eggs,milk or Water and Pinch of Salt, The Batter should be a Thin Creamy Consistency,

    Then add the Melted Butter or Cooking Oil and Mix it lightly into a Creamy Consistency.

    Grease the Crepiere Pan with Butter or Oil, making sure it does not Burn,over a Medium to High Heat,

    In French Crepe making you have a T Shaped Piece of Wood that helps you Spread the Mixture in the Pan,

    Pour about a Half to two Thirds of a cup of Batter slowly into the Pan starting in the Centre and gradually Swirling it in a Circle until 12 Inches in Diameter.  The Rateau, T Shaped Stick Helps you Spread it in the Pan,by Twirling the T end in the Mixture like a Propeller.

    Cook the Crepe until it is Firm and lightly Brown at the Edges, about 1 minute then turn over with a Spatula  and Cook the Other side for about 30 Seconds and Crepe is done.

    Grease the Pan before Commencing Cooking of each Crepe ,with Butter or Oil.

    Fill the Crepe with fillings of your Choice,Ham and Cheese, Maple Syrup, Bananas andCream, Lemon Juice and Sugar, Chocolate Sauce.

    Bon Apettit.

  7. 1 cup flour

    1 tablespoon sugar

    2 teaspoons baking powder

    1/4 teaspoon salt

    1 egg, beaten

    1 cup milk

    2 tablespoons vegetable oil

    Mix the flour, sugar, salt and baking powder in a bowl. If you have a whisk, use it, and make sure the ingredients are well mixed otherwise you can use a fork.

    In another bowl, beat the egg, then add the milk and oil. Mix until it is thoroughly combined.

    Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and whisk them together for about a minute. The mixture should be a bit lumpy.

    Now the cooking part. If you have a griddle heat, it up or use a large cast iron skillet. If all else fails, just use the largest frying pan you have and heat it up. How Hot? Generally a medium flame will do. To test whether the pan or griddle is hot enough, just take a drop of water and drop it onto the hot surface, if it dances, you are good to go.

    Now pour about a third of a cup of batter into the pan. This isn’t exact. If you want larger pancakes, pour more. For smaller pancakes pour less batter. It will take about two minutes to cook the first side. You will know when it is done when the bubbles that will form on the top pop. Flip it over and let it cook for a minute more. When the flap jacks, as pancakes are sometimes called, are golden brown, put them on a plate and enjoy.

  8. Serve these pancakes with butter and syrup.

    2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

    Preparation:

    Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. In a separate bowl, combine egg and milk; add to flour mixture, stirring only until smooth. Blend in melted butter.
