My best friend's birthday is coming up and she's turning fourteen. I know she'd love a blanket with pictures of us and all of our friends all over it. I want the blanket to be soft, like fleece or something. What should I use to get the pictures onto fabric that I could sew onto the blanket itself?

  1. Iron on sheets would work well, but not on fleece.  Because they leave a layer, they would just cover up the texture of the fabric.

I would use the iron-on sheets on squares of fabric suited for them, such as cotton or jersey, then quilt that together with some squares of soft flannel for a simple patchwork quilt.

  2. Your local fabric/craft store should have the inkjet iron on transfer sheets that would work I believe that Target sells them too. However, you would have to iron them on to a white cotton as I dont think it will work on fleece.
