My Starbucks Espresso machine is broken so I cant make espresso. I do have a drip coffee maker. I have Gharidelli Dark Chocholate syrup and all the other makings for a mocha- Kirkland Brand Espresso Bean(Starbucks),milk, ice, etc.

How can I make a sufficiently good iced mocha with drip Coffee?

  1. Make a super strong coffee, chill it, and then add everything you'd like to add.

  2. i think all the answerers have great suggestions.  the main and most important point is to make EXTRA strong coffee.  you won't be disappointed.  obviously, ice will dilute anything, so starting with a strong base is key.

i always like to add some ice cream, but that is just me.  you can always add a dab of frozen yogurt or low-fat ice cream if you want for extra creaminess.  but of course you could just leave that out and go with the traditional makings.

    good luck, enjoy!

  3. Number one, you want to brew either espresso or french roast, which you can brew in a drip pot. You use more coffee, less water, turn on the machine and let it brew. Ok, set that aside.

In a glass mug, or tall glass, take hershey's syrup, and pour some into the glass, then add your coffee and half and half, and ice cubes. Now, I know what you are thinking, I wanted this frozen. Ok, to do this frozen and not just over cubes, place all of this in a blender and mix until slushy. Pour into your glasses and top with whipped cream and a drizzle of hershey syrup. Voila, pure yum, and a lot cheaper than a coffee house. If you like, you can also add a drip of vanilla to it before mixing.
