How do I make bigger pics then the normal size for my avatar pic?

I notice that in the cricket section, several users have pics almost twice the length of the normal, how do you do that?

I've noticed avatar that are longer, not wider.

All avatars are the same width. It can only be made longer.

For that, get a picture, and crop it from Right and Left side to make it look longer and skinny, and upload it on your 360 page.
