  1. Do you mean on steel wire armoured cable?

    Or maybe pyro(fire resistant,metal/plastic sheath?).

  2. If this is steel wire armoured cable, you score around the cable with a hacksaw at the correct length to fit the box, dont saw right through the wire just nick all the strands, then stip off the pvc sheath down to your saw cut, untwist the wire a few strands at a time and gently bend back and forth till they beak off cleanly, then remove the outer pvc sheath a further 1" past your cut armouring, slip on the black over shroud and the outer part of the gland, gently rotate the inner cable to streach out the 1" of exposed armour the inner part of the gland now slips nder the armour wire and the outer part tightens on to it, make sure all the strands are gripped between the glands fully tighten and remove the internal insulation to expose the wires within, then thread the gland into your enclosure/ fitting and fix with locknut. If using the armouing as your earth connection use the bonding plate and connect this to earth at both ends inally carry out all the normal tests for insulation resistance and earth continuity. (Good Luck)

  3. I believe you mean a gland nut, with is a hollow threaded bolt and nut set. The wiring inserts into the hole in the bolt from the side, then you tighten the nut to restrain it from pulling out. Wrap it with plenty of electrical tape to insulate it, and you're done.

  4. U have to buy the nipples and connectors from a electrical store.  I think u meant CO-Axe cables.  This, u have to buy the crimper and all the necessary parts. (Home Depot, Lowes/ H/D, Walmart. etc.
