I am going to homecoming with a good friend that I talk to all the time, but she goes to a different school. She is a little uncomfortable about meeting all of my friends, because I go to a private school, so she is worried about meeting a bunch of rich kids. I told her that they're not all rich, only a few. That made her feel a little better, but she is still a little worried about going. How can I reassure her about going with me, and meeting all my friends?

  1. "They're my friends (name).  Would I really be the type to befriend snobs?"

  2. Tell that she's fine with you, so your friends shouldn't be any different. You go to the same school, and she's just being a little stereotypical. If she can be friends with you at this private school, she can handle meeting your friends at this private school.

  3. having been in a similar position to you i would just say that at the end of the day these people are just the same as you and i, and she will have fun no matter what, you guys get on well i'm sure she will have as good a time just being with you never mind with your friends!

  4. just ask her one more time. and leave it at that. she will let you know. yes or no

  5. Just reassure her that you'll look after her and you'll have a great time together. Tell her that you'll stay by her side all night and there is nothing to worry about. That will make her feel like you are going to look after her and she'll feel comfort in knowing that you're looking out for her.

  6. Your concern about that dear friend makes it clearly apparent that you are a person of honour - and that shall earn respect from she & countless others. The nature that you possess exemplifies that you are one that doesn't measure qualities of life in 'monetary' fashion'.

The resolution of this concern is 'owned' by you; presentation of your thoughts make it obvious to this reader that they are directly focused on that treasured friend - and that will be recognized by her in perceptible fashion.
