How do I make instant pruno?!?

In a documentary on womens prisons in California (on uk tv) an inmate seemed to make instant pruno by adding a sachet of some white powder to a cup of orange juice. The production crew did not allow her to say what the powder was but there was a chemical reaction...fizzing...popping...some stirring...then viola! - instant pruno!!

What was in that sachet? how do u make it?? where u get it???

My roomie (who is a cop) says it is probably sugar.  If you let it ferment...you have instant booze!  :)
