How do I make this video clearer and make it in High Quality with an Xbox Live Vision Camera or should I get a completely different camera since the Vision Camera is a Web Cam.

  1. A better camera will help. Even though you tube compresses detail the better your master video the better your dubs or image on you tube. Also improve your lighting google three point lighting and learn how. consider a tripod. use a good video editor with color and luminance correction. The minimum editors would be arcsoft showbiz for a PC or iMovie for a mac. Even better would be Avid or final cut pro. Consider interesting backgrounds. Try setting focus so the person is in focus and the background is not. Use complementary colors for human flesh the background should be a medium to light blue.

    Hope this helps.

  2. Depends on what kind of movies you want to do. For storytelling, you probably do want a better cam, but be aware that Youtube kills pretty much anything, so focus more on other things, like:

Sound = VERY important, always overlooked. Get a good mic.

Lighting = VERY important, always overlooked. Get a lighting kit if you can, and if not, just use available lamps and stuff.

Stability = Make sure you have a good stable tripod. If you do any handheld stuff, hold the cam as steady as you can and walk with your always knees bent to keep it smooth. Shaky video kills. Ideally, keep the cam on the tripod (with legs collapsed) as that gives it weight on the bottom. Just hold the tripod on the head instead of the cam and walk around like that.

Cinematography: I know, geeky movie-term, but it is important. Make sure you pick good camera angles. This delves into the entire field of photography, but it is critical. Look up things like composition, rule of thirds, golden rule, head-room, nose-room, etc. Make sure you pick good backgrounds for your shots that aren't distracting.

Finally, make absolutely sure you're video has a good enough story to make people want to watch it. This is the most important thing ever. 99% of people seem to think that if they have a $5,000 camera, a $2,000 mic, a $1,000 tripod, then their videos are automatically awesome. NOT TRUE. I can't stress enough how insignificant these things are besides story. If Star Wars was shot on a cheap cam, it would still be Star Wars. Speilberg would still have made Jaws if he only had a cheap camera. They would still be great movies. Cameras and accessories are merely tools. It all depends on YOU and whether YOU are good enough.

  3. Okey, i see:)

Once you're happy with your final result, you'll need to save the video in a format that YouTube can accept in order to upload. Unless you're a professional video producer, we recommend that you save your videos as either QuickTime .MOV, Windows .AVI, or .MPG files— these are the most common formats and they work well within our system. We specifically recommend the MPEG4 (Divx, Xvid) format at 640x480 resolution with MP3 audio. Resizing your video to these specifications before uploading will help your clips look better on YouTube.

So there some good converter u will be used: Moyea Video Converter
