She's a cat - no matter where I move them she can get to them. And I can't keep her away from them at night time, or when I am out. They are indoor plants.

  1. I couldn't figure out how to do this... I had to give up my green thumb for 13 years. I couldn't keep my cat out of any plants, flowers given to me or the Christmas tree. Whenever someone gave me flowers I had to shut them in the bathroom so she couldn't get them. It was soooo frustrating, but I miss dealing with all that now, she was a great cat otherwise. I have a Calico Kitten Figurine of a cat climbing a Christmas tree. The cat is even the same color Kyra was. We never had a Christmas go by where she didn't find a way to climb to the top knocking ornaments to the ground. I keep the figurine out year round right next to the TV where I can see it every day. Great memories - it makes me smile.

ADD: A couple of things I tried was foil around the plant. She didn't like the foil, but she found a way to get around it. Try it with your kitty and see if it works.

Since I couldn't have real plants I got one of those fake ficus trees. The pot part of the tree had straw around the bottom. She wouldn't leave that alone. I finally took some kind of mat and cut it to fit in the pot. Since she couldn't get to the straw she wasn't so tempted to get in the pot. The mat is still there and Kyra's been gone for two years now.

  2. Move them.

  3. put rocks and stuff in the plant and put out litter boxes

  4. keep the cat away from the plants, simple
