I want all my bridesmaides and MOH to wear the same dress and same color. (as shown in picture) The only other color I am planning on putting into my wedding is black! How or what can I do to make my MOH stand out? Any ideas?

  1. Make her bouquet a bit bigger and more flowers or different flowers. That way she will stand out but still have the same dress ( = That's what my best friend did and it worked.

  2. A different boquet....

    A differet piece of jewelry...

    A different wrap or ribbon...

there are so many ways to make her unique.  Keep serching, you'll find inspiration soon... good luck!

  3. A bigger much prettier bouquet, and maybe a crown in or something in her hair, and different earrings, those are simple ways to help her stand out from the others

  4. Have her wear a black bow!

I think your color choice is beautiful.

  5. Everybody but the bride is supposed to blend in. Play second fiddle.

  6. Well you could add a black sash, but I dont like that.   You could make them hold different flowers.

  7. my MOH is having a bigger bouqet and a hair piece maybe something along that line would work for you

  8. different bouquet, maybe the same as yours, a different set of jewelry, but people will know, she will be standing right next to you

  9. Topless

  10. maybe find a way to tie in a black ribbon around her waist or something, just something a touch different. you don't want anything too drastic. at my cousins wedding she had moh wear her hair down, she was the only one with her hair down.

good luck, and very cute dress.

  11. There are so many ways that you MOH can be different from your other bridesmaids..

    1.  Have everyone else put thir hair up and she can leave hers down.

    2. Have the bridesmaids carry a single flower and have your MOH carry a bouquet.

    3.  Have their dresses a solid color and hers, a mix of 2 colors or vice versa

    4. The maid of honor generally stands out a little anyway.  There are the speeches, she walks down the aisle alone, sits next to you, etc.  Simple subtle changes can make her stand out even more.

  12. different accessories! she can have a bigger or different color bouquet, maby tie a ribbon around her bouquet, I personally bought all my bridesmaids a set of pearl earrings and then my MOH a necklace to match! some people even give her something special like a MOH parasol to use for everything except the actually ceremony (unless everyone else gets them too) she should also get a nicer gift at your rehearsal dinner and her placement in the processional and at the altar will send a clear message to your guests as to who she is.

  13. You can have her carry a different boquet than the other bridesmaids.  Something in between yours and the rest.  You could also have her wear her hair a little different or give her a headpiece to wear.

  14. all my bridesmaids wore the same dress. I had a maid of honor and a matron of honor. I had much larger flowers done for them. Their where tear drop shaped and the others were round.

If you are giving them jewerly for their gifts the MOH can have a peice a little different than the rest too.

  15. What color are you doing the bouquets?  Even if you want the bouquets neutral, you could make hers a big larger or more opulent.

Otherwise, just the order they will enter & her place of honor next to you will designate her as the MOH.

Could you have her scarf beaded somehow in a style similar to the accent on your dress?

  16. wear her hair differently

    different bouquet

    different jewelry

different cut dress-  I'm also using Alfred Angelo and my Bmaids are in cocktail and my maid of honor is in tea length

  17. You could give her a black or white sash, a different boquet, a different hairtstyle, some I have seen wear like a pin of something sort on the dress, there are a lot of different things you can do, be creative and have her accessorize a little diff. then the rest of the girls! :)

  18. Your dress is gorgeous!

You could have your MOH wear a black sash with her dress, or maybe some sort of black bouquet. You could also have her dress taylored so that her dress was either shorter or longer than the other BM's. Also, you could vary with the hairstyles, maybe have your MOH wear an up-do, and the BM's wear their hair down some how. Or vise versa. Maybe put some sort of decoration in the MOH's hair as well. Maybe some little diamonds, or flowers, or even a small tiara would be cute, just as long as it doesn't take any attention away from the bride.

Congratulations by the way! Hope everything turns out beautifully!

  19. Honestly, she'll "stand out" because she is the last one to walk before you, and will be standing the closest to you. No one will really notice if she has different earrings, flowers, etc. They will be looking at YOU. Don't stress over something no one will notice. You will have enough to stress over!
