How do I make my deck shine with a glossy look?

Every year Istain my deck. I would like to make it shiny this year. I already stained it with a semi transparent stain (no gloss) and it has a water seal in it. I just want a shiny so I only need something clear. will polyurathane hold up in the weather or will it peel? i DO NOT need peeling! who does. any help is gretaly appreciated. thanks

minwax makes an outdoor poly, but I'm not sure how it would stand up to foot traffic, which brings me to the question do you know that any glossy finish is going to make your deck kinda slippery

Put a couple of extra coats of wax on it

Go to the paint store and ask for "marine" paint. This is the kind of paint/sealant that they use @ marinas on the piers and what not...expensive, but awesome!
