How do I make my dvd recorder Multi Region?

I have a LG RH188S and want to make it multi region ive been on google and it wasnt any help the link that was given didnt work

Try this

1) Press Set Up

2) Scroll To Lock

3) Press  0   seven times

If a message comes up saying it's now region free then that's it    ; )
