  1. go to a beauty supply store and buy a color enhancing purple shampoo that counter reacts gold, they will know what you are talking about, Artec White violet is one of my faves (not sure if they have it in britain) also shimmer lights is good

  2. What you want to do is take foil && put it under the hair peices you want more white && then rub bleech into your hair, that will turn it more white.

  3. hey (:

well as far as i am aware using lemon juice can strip the colour too ):

using a bleach should bring out the colour in your hair also try using a blond shampoo and conditioner for you new hair x

  4. lmao @ the no sun comment...sadly its true lol..joys of bein in england.

i mean you cud go bk to the salon and they;d either put a low level of bleach - 6% on or they'd apply an ash toner, but personally i wudnt advise putting more bleach on the hair.

ok...what u wanna do is use a shampoo which is purple in colour..tis deposits ash tones in the hair - neutrilising orange/yellow tones and enhancing blonde hair.

good exmaple of this is matrix so silver shampoo

when i had colour correction done on my hair - dark red stripped out - my was ginger... like it been tago'd. and i use this shampoo and well it did work well.

    hope this works...

  5. white bleach, or there is always white paint

  6. you need to go back to the salon where you had it done with this problem. if you try to fix it your self, you might make it worse. they might use a toner to neutralize unwanted warm tones you see now.

  7. bleach?

  8. Hi, just go to sally's beauty supply and buy Simmer Lights shampoos and conditioners this will turn your highlights back to white just like you had them done.

  9. DiiNKYB0...  There is no way you are a hair stylist giving out advice like that, and you can't even spell bleach correctly.

The problem you are referring to is a result of the stylist not leaving the bleach on long enough.  This can happen if your hair was pretty dark before the highlight. Or it could be that she didn't put enough bleach on your hair in the foil and it dried under the dyer.

To fix the problem, you need to go back to the same stylist and explain that you are unhappy with the results.  They should be able to give you a wash in hair lightener done at the shampoo sink.  Not sure what it is called there, but at the salon I worked at it was called a lasaunt.  It will bring the already highlighted hair up a few tones, and if you go back to the same stylist within a few days of the first procedure, they shouldn't charge you for it.  Be nice and just tell them it didn't turn out the way you wanted.
