How do I make my online store work better for me on silkfair.com?

Any suggestions in making my store in silkfair.com work better? There are a lot of website out there. I love having a store in silkfair.com, but how do I gain traffic and sell things online better.

A couple of ideas I will pass around.

silkfair has very little page rank value and therefor it has very low web search rankings and if you hadn't ask this question I would have never known silkfair or what it was all about. I sometimes by handmade items myself.

I would recommend http://www.etsy.com all handmade items and basically the same concept. Plus you are able to to have a real store domain on the site so it would be like www.etsy.com/yourstore so it will get listed in search engines much better.

It also has a very clean and easy to use ecommerce. Also able to have user reviews, tells the buyer what you sold in the past which can build hype.

Basically uses same payment method paypal.

Even though silkfair has a good amount of visitors, you have no visibility and I think the site is fairly new so it lacks.  

Also remember retail is a hard sector to get into right now due to consumer confidence (its even effecting the big companies). If you have what people want, a price more people could afford, and have minimum competition it would work out great. I always find that people really want limited edition items that not everybody can get.

Keep listing it in Yahoo Answers trolling for a few more hits. That is a good marketing plan.

Submit your site to some classified Ads. http://www.1second.com/a.htm, social bookmarking and certainly you'll gain traffic. Do some link build building as well.
