Question:

How do I make my own comedy/tragedy masks?

I'm dressing up as a drama queen for Halloween (neat, huh?) and I want to make my own comedy/tragedy masks. Th costume it just a dress and a crown (so I kind of look like a queen) and I'll either carry two masks or have one that is half happy, half sad.

Can I buy the drama masks in craft stores or will I only get basic ones? If I can only get basic ones, how do I turn them into the drama masks?

Also, any tips for the rest of my costume?

Halloween is going to be fun!

  1. I am absolutely in love with the dual mask idea.

Having one emotion on one half and another on the other half.

Just put a popsickel stick on one side, and hold it in front of you face.

As for the whole making the mask look funny or scary, use paper mashet (spelling?). Just mold one side of the face with the paper then the other and make sure they meet in the middle. Then let it dry and paint it!

I love your idea so much, it kind of inspirered my to do it; except I might be a 'dead' queen lol.

    Have a nice day!!

    =)`
