How do I make my profile private on facebook?

I though I had already made it private, but when I searched for myself it's still blue and I can click on my profile. Is it because it's my profile and I am logged in, or...

Don't add any friends:)

If you search for yourself, obviously you can see your own profile.

To set it to private, click on 'Privacy' on the top right corner, then change your settings from there. Mine is set to "only friends", so no one on Facebook can search for me even if they type in my name.

Double check by going to the privacy button in the upper right corner next to Logout.

You can still check your own profile because you're you. Try logging out and then checking to see if you can still access it.
