How do I make my regular tv go out?

I want HDTV but my wife says our old tv is fine. She is stuck in the stone age and Im in the digital! Is there anything I can do to get this dinosaur (the TV) to go out quicker?

I'm with your wife on this one.  The technology on this stuff is changing so fast!  Laser TV is supposed to be out somewhere in 3rd quarter 2008.  Don't you want to see that?  Then mobile TV will be out in late 2010 . . .

My strategy is to wait until just before the change over and then get the best of what's out at the time.  I'll have the latest, greatest technology . . . for a couple of week at least . . . until something better comes out . . .

She's right, the longer you wait the better technology you get for a lesser price....

If I were you...I'd wait until Christmas comes around this year and buy the NEW Mitsubishi Laser DLP....

You will be rewarded with the highest color gamut and the sharpest HD that will make your friends jealous of you....

Plus it will keep the wife happy by getting HD JUST BEFORE all TV stations go 100% Digital....

And it's Christmas time....time for you to buy a present for you and your wife....She gets the PS3 and you get the TV.

just go to a circuit city or best buy and show her how beautiful hd pictures are.  either way you have to go digital by 2009 everything will be broadcast in digital

Play with magnets around it and tape a couple to the sides so that it will affect the picture tube.  

It is mostly temporary, but it will look pretty convincing to the untrained eye.
