How do I make my room cool?

I have a window, but it is closed, a rectangle like window with 2 window screens. I have a door to my closet and my room entrance. The only thing I have is my fan, it was going nonstop for some weeks, I just stopped it. It is a white regular fan. Help please.

if your room is painted a dark color it tends to make the room hotter than if you had one painted a light color, you might consider installing a ceiling fan above your bed or an attic fan in the house. Of course you would have to keep your door open to reep the benefits, or last but not least you could install air conditioning....

Why don't you place your fan in or directly in front of your window, and keep your closet and room door open so that the air can circulate. This will make a big difference.
