How do I make my small eyes look bigger?

Question

I usually just end up going overboard on eyeliner, please help!

My eyes are almond like shaped, dark brown, golden skin, brown/black hair.

I have the same problem, stay away from black eyeliner, except for on the upper lid.

For the waterline, I would go for a brown liner, and dark purples.

White eyeliner on the waterline also makes small eyes pop, and fresh looking.

i curl my eye lashes and put white eye liner along my water line.

a smokey eye or a 40's look.

don't line your water line if you want to line your eyes do it on the lash line. use big false lashes or  a bunch of mascara. accentuate your crease in your eye. if your using eyeliner use more in the outer corner closest to your hair. use a white or silvery eye shadow to highlight your inner corner. use white eyeliner on your waterline

How to...

   1. Apply a light shade of eye shadow to the crease of the upper lid.

   2. Curl eyelashes with an eyelash curler.

   3. Apply a coat of thickening mascara on the top lashes only. Apply Second coat while first is wet, waiting for just a few seconds will dry it out and will clump it and get in your eye and that would NOT be comfortable.

   4. Use a sharpened black eye liner to the inner corner of the eye and top. Use your pinky to steady your hand, by placing it on your cheek, just below the eye.

tips

    * White pencil on the inner part of the eyelid will help make eyes appear bigger.

    * Gold pencil on the lids and inner part of the eyelid also make the eyes look bigger and give them a nice sheen.

    * If your eyes are normal-sized, and close to almond-shaped, apply mascara all the way round. This looks really dramatic, and is a real eye-opener.

    * If you want to add dimension to your eyes, add a slightly darker color above the crease.

    * If you also want to make your eyes appear wider, make your eyeliner thicker towards the edges of your eyes.

    * Put mascara especially on the lashes near to outer corner of your eye: these are the ones that need extra lift, and make a huge difference in eye appearance.

    * Get an eye makeover, at any department store at the makeup department. Ask them for various colors to use to make your eyes look larger.

Be careful! Do not use dark eyeliner on the bottom lid, this only makes eyes smaller! Many makeup experts use white eyeliner - it works!

curl your eyelashes really curly and then wear mascara and make your eyeliner on your top lid a little more thicker so it will look like you have more eye
