  1. You and your kids must play a game related to the subject you teach. If your learning too, you can ask the teacher to do this. OK i think this would be helful for you, even for getting more ideas lol.

  2. once in a while, maybe do a trip to sumwhr like zoo, history places or sumwhr else! or make a competition of spelling bee, story telling, n mur! ( my headquater always do this kind of activities once a long time! im a day care teacher ! i teach pre n primary students (age 5 - 12) to do their homeworks, taking care of them, check their school bags, giving them advices n mur)

  3. Take careful notes, and be as involved as possible. I know that sounds very "goody two shoes" but I'm telling you, take it from someone with their masters' degree who worked 3 jobs through college....when I DIDN'T put everything into the classes, I found them incredibly boring, even if they were interesting subjects. It only became interesting when I stayed involved, at least *Read* the assignments, sat in the front in class and took careful notes.  Then, the bonus was, of course, good grades!!

Sounds dorky and "valedictorian"-ish, but really...it works!! It's the only way to make a boring class interesting.

  4. read ahead the night before and then when the teacher is lecturing, it's not all foreign and you'll be interested.
