My coach, Samuel, says that i'm using my muscles to tumble and it's not flowing. How do I get my tumbling to flow and not make it so choppy? I want to tumble faster and flowier (if that's a word.) Thanks!

  1. i don't know how to make it flow but you can watch our squad on varsitywired.com under videos of UCA nationals and we are martin middle,i'm not sure if that is the type of tumbling that you want because i don't know how flowy(that's a funny word!) that you want it,but to make it faster at practice we have a race by doing a round-off 4(backhand springs) and we try to get it under five seconds(it is possible) that's what made my tumbling a little bit faster, but it was already fast to begin with.

  2. Same thing with me just stop thinking so hard when you tumble, just Do it kinda if you get what i mean. also have alot of energy before you  tumble so you have lots of power in you tumblbing. Remember to have confidence,  practice your tumbling, and, squeeze when your tumbling :)

  3. Performing each skill separately is what makes your tumbling choppy. To smooth it out you need to think ahead. As you are performing a skill imagine what your next move is and think of the transition as a skill to be performed. Moving from one trick to another is a skill that you must practice. Practice, practice, practice will make your skills more automatic so that you can concentrate on pointed feet, stretched arms, and all those refinements that make a polished performance.

  4. it takes practise and when u tumble use ur run to get u power
