How do I make my way from Charles de Gaulles to Paris?

I have a stop over in Paris for two days, and I'll be by myself. Also, if anyone knows any good hotels downtown Paris, it owuld be much appreciated.

  1. The commuter rail line, the RER B, will take you into the city where you can connect with the Metro if needed.

    Journey from Charles de Gaulle Airport is RER line B (Direction Robinson or St Rémi les Chevreuse)

    You might find buying a "Carte Mobilis" or "Paris Visite" card is the cheapest way travelling on public transport is Paris.. Both are day cards with unlimited travel based by zone. You can use it to hop on and hop off buses/métros/RER as much and as often as you wish.

    Charles de Gaulle is in Zone 5.

    The "Paris Visite" card has the advantage of discounts on various attractions in Paris.

    These are available at both SNCF/RER and RATP kiosks/stations.
