If you have the new Yahoo web home page, on the left hand side of the page is a long list of links.  Go the the very bottom and click on  Y! International.  On that page, click U.S.

Adjust your country/language setting — what Yahoo! Mail calls your "Preferred Content" — by following these steps:

   1. Click My Account at the top of your [property_mail] page. It’s under Welcome, yourname.

   2. Re-enter your password. These are your private settings, so we want to be sure it’s you!

   3. Click Edit to the right of "Member Information."

   4. In "General Preferences", click whatever link is after "Preferred Content".

   5. From the pull-down menu in the "Preferred Content" window, select the setting you want. Lots of choices!

   6. Click Finished.
