How do I make pictures screensavers.

Question

I have pictures saved in my documents files and I want them as a slideshow screensaver. How is that done? I am running windows 2000.

It is fairly easy.You just go to the picture that you  want to be your screen saver and go up to the top of your screen and click on the little arrow next to the house in the right hand corner.There there will be an option that says ''add or change home page'' just click on that and it should make your picture your home page screen saver!.............GOOD LUCK!

For making slide show screen saver a soft ware is needed.

Here is the step for making slide show screen saver no matter which software you use.

usually screen saver is based on

Time duration

Back ground music

Transitions

But if you got good software then you can add logo and password too.

Ok, Put all photos you wanted to use in a folder such as Slide show

Then go open the screen saver software add totol photos you want to use in slide show. You can adjust the serial of photo when they will run in slide show as you want.

Adjust, transitions

Adjust duration

Adjust back ground music etc.

When you are satisfied click button CREATE or whatever. It might ask you if you want screen save with installation or only screen saver file?

choose as you want. The problem with installation is some people do not want to install screen saver therefore, it is better to make screen saver file instead. Which we can watch on computer just by clicking icon.

OR

If you want to use photos from computer to see them as a screen saver slide show.

Click on any empty place of desktop, then click properties a window will be opened click on Screen saver from drop down menu choose slide show. I got Windows vista on your computer this might be different.

go to your desk top.

left click and go down to personalize.

then go to 'screen saver'

annd browse through your saved pictures.

All you have to do is save your picture to your picture to a file, then go to to start then click settings, then you choose control panel. After that you choose display, then click the tab that says screen saver. when you see a down arrow click it and choose my picture slideshow, then hit apply. I hope this helped.

Click control panel on the start menu. Then click on the display icon. Click the screen saver tab. There will be a drop down box that shows the different kinds of screen savers you can have. Click my Pictures Slideshow. Click Settings. And find the folder that has the pictures you want to be used by clicking browse. You can also edit how fast they go, how big they are and so on.
