I see labels in homebrew magazines that look like real labels, how do they do it without commissioning a design/printing company?

Maybe if you email them they have sowtware art packages.

    I Know I have seen a site somewhere  I don't remember where

    Edit  - - try this

  2. The only way to make something look really professional would be to have a high quality label, preferably with colors bleeding off the edge. If you do this at home, the print quality will not be that great.

It doesn't cost much, but you can try ReducedPrinting.com

The nightclub I work at had labels made for our water bottles and they came out really gorgeous and professional

If you decide to use them, it's a specialty product, therefore you will need a custom quote or give them a call

    Good luck

  5. Come up with a catchy label, And print them out on your computer....

  6. Any graphics program (and a few wp programs) will get you started. I suspect that most of the winning labels have graphics that were drawn by hand and then scanned in.
